DSD

The deep-space deployer (DSD) is an enhancement to the already successful DuoPack. The innovative design enables a low speed staged deployment ensuring both the host spacecraft and the CubeSat maintain their target trajectory, e.g. in low gravity environments. In addition, an umbilical connection from host spacecraft to CubeSat enables charging and check-out during transit phases and a final check-out prior to low-velocity release.
