ISIS Launch Services

From experience, ISIS can confirm that to design and develop a small satellite ‘from scratch to space’ is one of the most challenging and at the same time satisfying achievements for a team of space engineers, whether it is as part of education, work, or hobby. Finishing the spacecraft on time already is a very delicate task, while getting it into space is yet another.

As small satellite developer you will, sooner or later, start searching for a launch opportunity. In many cases, however, finding the correct launch opportunity may turn out to be not as easy and straightforward as many small satellite developers expect. In order to obtain a launch for your auxiliary payload, a significant amount of the limited time, personnel and financial resources has to be spent at finding a suitable launch opportunity and negotiations and arrangement of the agreements and contracts.

Let alone the time and effort your satellite development team requires after the contract has been signed for preparing all necessary technical documentation, arrangement of a launch adaptor, verification of compliance with all interface and environment test requirements and for fulfilling all other contractual obligations. Time and effort that every satellite developer would rather spend on the challenging task of finishing the satellite in time.

In other words, the arrangement of a launch for a small satellite actually is a crucial task in a small satellite project that is just as challenging as finishing the spacecraft itself. A challenging task with which you would like to have professional, experienced assistance.

Therefore, ISIS has started its independent launch services for small spacecraft, or ‘ISILaunch’. The motto of our ISILaunch Services is to make the launch of your small satellite as simple and ‘easy’ as possible, for you. We can offer you a complete package deal, taking care of all aspects of the launch, or we can offer you a solution tailored to your specific needs.

ISIS offers regular piggyback launch opportunities for small spacecraft, to low earth orbit on a variety of different launch vehicles. Different orbit types and specific launch periods may also available on request. With its launch services, ISIS offers its customers:

•    Great flexibility in the level of service at a competitive price
•    A single point of contact for all aspects of the launch
•    Minimum effort and overhead for the customer
•    Regular launch opportunities, currently aimed at a minimum of two per year

For a more detailed overview of what ISIS can offer you for the launch of your satellite, please have a look at the Launch Service Details page.
