Miniaturized Spacecraft Systems

Advances in microelectronics enable a whole new range of small, powerefficient electronic systems. As a result, spacecraft can be drastically reduced in size. Alternatively, more efficient and smaller systems can improve the performance per kilogram of a larger spacecraft as more mass, volume and power is available for the payloads.

ISIS provides, amongst others, highly miniaturized (sub)systems for spacecraft ranging from 1 kilogram up to 40-50 kilograms. One particular class of small spacecraft are CubeSats, which are currently the smallest satellites that are operational in orbit.

ISIS provides a number of subsystems and components for CubeSats. A CubeSat is a satellite of 1 kilogram, and measures 10x10x10 cm.

For more information on these systems and buying these systems, please take a look at www.CubeSatShop.com

ISIS has performed a survey among a considerable number of university CubeSat projects. The results of this surevey are summarized in a facts and figures document.  We try to update this document regularly.
